Uk reseller that offers free end user support?

Posted by andy91, 10-03-2010, 10:45 PM
Hi Can anybody recommend Uk reseller that offers free end user support for my clients, is reasonably priced and does not mind adult content on their servers. Also should be able to handle Joomla and other CMS type scripts.

Take a look at EZPZ

I don't know if they allow adult content, but Inno would probably meet your other requirements.

yeh iv looked at both, they both look good but EZPZ look like they offer more for your money. I no quality hosting prices money and at the costs both these companies are offering....well lets just say I'm not daft..but since im only dipping my toe in the water they will probably do for now.

When your offering domain names to clients with say EZPZ I take it you have to recommend a third party domain registrar? I take it affiliate programs for this would be the way to go?

It depends what you want and how much you have to spend really. If you go as an affiliate, you earn a little commission back, and thats fine. If you go with a domain reseller account, you have to invest a little money for your deposit, but the returns are greater. Other than end user support, is there anything else you require from a hosting package?

Try no one else other than EZPZ. Been using them for more than 8 months and what I could say is SUPERB. Give them a try mate

one more question: How does the billing system work in EZPZ for example. Say I sign up for an account and I have the free WHMCS licence then I take on a number of clients each paying me x amount, does this go to EZPZ first then back to me or do I require some kind of business account first etc..

Hi Andy, Any money paid to you by your resellers would go directly to you. WHMCS can be integrated with a number of gateways including PayPal, Moneybookers and Authorize.net which you can then withdraw to your bank. Dan

Thanks for the quick response.

innohost pretty good, very fast support

They are very well recommended here in WHT, and I've read pretty good reviews about them. Maybe you should give them a try.

You can also have a look at the offer section here. I think there is a lot of UK resellers there, and it would help you to find one meeting your requirements. Do you have any specific requirements like disk space, bandwidth etc? And what's your estimated budget? By that you can narrow down your search.

I ended up going with ezpz for now. Im bit confused about how whmcs and all that works but ill figure it out. One question tho: when you sign up as a discount vps reseller and domain reseller are you meant to add your own pricing and make a profit on this or are you just passing them on and using it to look as if you are larger hosting provider?

Posted by Dan_EZPZ, 10-05-2010, 09:38 AM
Welcome aboard Andy You can add a little onto the costs of the discounted VPS and domains if you wish or you can just sell them at the regular costs - it's completely up to you. The majority of resellers just add on a few $ per month to your base costs. Dan

I'm actually really confused now, is there a walk through of something on how to set whmcs up? Iv looked at the reseller welcome guide but its a bit vague. For example how do I know if whmcs is integrated with my whm panel. I didn't think it would be this complicated TBH. I need to understand how my reseller cpanel and whm account integrates with my website front end and whmcs to sell hosting and everything that goes with it. What are the steps involved in setting this up there does not seem to be clear cut instructions on how all this works together anywhere that I can find.

You may get help for this from whmcs's wiki or support forum http://wiki.whmcs.com/Installing_WHMCS

Andy91 have a look at the DemoWolf video tutorials - I believe they do a series for WHMCS, which may help a bit. Sometimes WHMCS can feel a bit intimidating One easy way to install WHMCS if you're with EZPZ. Raise a log with EZPZ for your WHMCS license key. In WHM create the domain that you want to host WHMCS under. Log-in to the new domain cPanel. Go to Softaculous->eCommerce. There's a link there to install WHMCS for you, nice and painlessly. HTH

i have it installed and active but I can see no sign that its linked with my reseller account and packages etc. I really need a run down of the entire process from customer buying package to activating it for them.

this guys tuts have been really helpful http://www.youtube.com/user/webhosti...E2A16886FCA6E9 Although I'm starting see that running a web host is a lot more complex than I thought

In WHM create the hosting packages that you want to offer customers, and remember the names you've given those packages. In WHMCS configure your server via Setup tab->Servers Still in WHMCS configure the hosting packages via Setup tab->Products/Services For each hosting package that you create, click the Module Settings tab On the Module Settings screen specify the Server that you setup earlier, then the "WHM Package Name" that you created earlier This then links the hosting packages in WHMCS to the packages that you've created in WHM Don't give up! It can be intimidating sometimes, but stick with it, take your time and experiment a little

I would have chosen InnoHosting as they have very good realistic Reseller hosting plans and have servers in the UK, plus they have a good End User Support system that you can use for FREE too.

Some hosting company gives you 100% freedom , allows you to create custom plans and your own pricing , Support external billing system like WHMCS.
