Well it also depends on which provider you use? Not every provider claiming they offer Cloud Hosting actually offer TRUE Cloud Hosting.

Alpha Master Reseller allows you to sell Master Reseller Accounts, WHM resellers, and cPanel resellers and they give people acess to deasoft master reseller, but as if they were a root account

HostXNow summed it up completely. A lot of hosts out there simply setup cloud hardware and stick a VDS up and call that cloud. That will provide hardware failover, but if the software on the VDS screws up your site will be offline.

Enhu, Cloud hosting could mean anything, every has their own take on it. You just have to carefully look around and see which product suits you best.

Is just another way to do web-hosting, your concern is more related to cloud solutions applied to shared web hosting, in that case, these providers are just using the benefits of the cloud computing on the web hosting A good example, is Cloudweb, which is a very reputable and recommended company!
