Windows Syslog?
Posted by regmac01, 09-28-2007, 09:43 AM |
Windows has a variety of items that it logs locally, logins, security alerts, etc, etc. Is there a software solution that can take computer level activity i.e. logins, security alerts, etc, etc and log it to a local or remote syslog server?

Of course.
Kiwi syslog
FYI, I realize you're probably looking for "expert" advice--and I have used Kiwi quite effectively especially to maintain router logs--but that took about 10 seconds to find on Google.

Hi!
Most software for windows tends to be commericial..but..at least free trials are normally available. Here's one I found today:
http://www.syslog.org/wiki/Main/GFiEventsManager
That seems to do what you want..maybe.
This might help as well:
