maldet email

| hi
i installed LMD (maldet) n my VPS server - centos 6. I already configured /usr/local/maldetect/conf.maldet and set email alert as ="1" and also configured my email address.. but im not receiving any scan reports via email. If uninfected or if undetected i will not be getting any mails? Can someone confirm this please? I already checked my exim mail log and couldnt see any mail generated.
maldet is there under daily cron directory.

| You'll only receive an email if it finds something.

| sam20e You will receive emails only if malicious files are detected OR if they are quarantined. If maldet does not detects anything no email will be sent.

| Hi,
It does not send out notification if no hits are found. It is its default behavior. if you want to have it send a report everytime, you can create a script to do this, but the default installation will not do this.
