Dears, I have 2 servers A and B. I want to do a weekly backup from server A to server B. server B has a second drive, directory is there and called root: /backup/backup/cpbackup/weekly Question: How would the command line look like I need to enter and how? (I have on both server root access) Thank you for every suggestion/comment. Jahn

If you have cpanel, I think you can easily use Remote FTP backups.

If you are ok with Remote FTP backup. Just login in to WHM >> Backup Configuration and there you can enable Remote FTP backup.

this is interesting... i have a doubt, do you have to choose one type of backup only? you can't have 2 types? (via ftp and a local backup for example)

Try using rsync http://everythinglinux.org/rsync/ Some rsync examples http://www.rootprompt.org/article.php3?article=8976 Check this link http://onlyubuntu.blogspot.com/2008/...in-ubuntu.html
