Please be clear. Whats your issue? Or just to confirm that your my.cnf and apache conf looks good?

Well, previously there was a big forum running on the server, and i was not allowed to do anything to the VPS. I now have access to the host and have found cache sizes about 4X what they should be. Which is probably why it was slow / crashing.
I have reconfigured the host to the setttings above and it's running a lot more smoothly, however the bigger site is of the host so i can't really compare.
But yeah, just wanted to know if i had a really obvious setting wrong as im not 100% up on it my self and the host was previously configured by a skid
