Actually i dont have any experiences with them but here are 2 threads regarding p4host and serverlabs which might help you on choosing one.Didnt mention others as you seemed to like only these two. http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...ghlight=p4host http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...ght=serverlabs

I wouldn't use the style of website as a judge of how good the company is. Some very good companies have crap websites.

i agree Adrian. if the support and uptime is good and if it also meets your needs then what to do with the website design.

i've been wanting to sign up with dathorn but their sign up form always seems to be down due to them needing to get a new server.

It appears that they are getting a few ducks in a row as of late. Not to worry, Andrew appears to run a tight operations and would most likely be a solid choice. Kind Regards, -Darrell

Well.. p4host turning safe_mode =on , if your script need safe_mode=off then you must take this into consideration..

I too am wondering where you sent your"Support Ticket" to We have Members only support system. Judging from the date on this, we have a new and better looking site. I never knew that if it looked Pretty, we would get biz...

most php scripts work on my servers. Safemode on is needed.

Posted by JustinH, 07-08-2003, 03:06 AM
Yeah, except for any that need to use ANY command-line file execution, or include files outside of your home directory (therefore ending any chance of installing a billing system that connects to CPanel via the Remote Access)... Honestly, anyone that thinks having safemode on is a requirement, doesn't understand how PHP works. Back on topic... TEST TEST TEST, a good site design is $50-$60 from TM, and *some* companeis prioritize sales emails over support. Try a company, and if you aren't happy, or are unimpressed (keeping in mind you need to ACTUALLY email them to test their times) move on to a new company.

not really, most pop php script such as xoops, postunke,OSC needed the safe mode=off ....if you turning safe mode=on , many of scripts would return nothing..
