Mchost-marc - Stop Emailing Me

Posted by Virt, 07-02-2003, 05:23 AM
MCHOST-MARC - STOP EMAILING ME...I owe you nothing...Please fix your incorrect billing system (I have received four (4) notices of a payment due and three notices that a payment was received from PaySystems (not possible since I cancelled my PaySystems payements to you back in January 2003 since you were too ignorant to do so yourself). Consider this your public request for your email submissions to stop - Future emails from your system to me will find their way posted via SpamCop.net. Sorry to all WHT members who have to see this...Seems to be the only way to get ahold of Marc at MCHost and make a point since he does not reply or care about posts at his own site. I am a former client since May 2003, cancelled services there in the end of May 2003 - but still receiving billings and emails that I am still a client - Hey Marc, I deleted my own account from your system back in May 2003 - so where is your proof??? You state $140.00 due now - YOU ARE WAY WRONG!!! My account does not even exist - I have also written to you numerous times, and will not follow your stupid games of making new accounts with new billing systems - third time since I was there - My cancellation was put in well before your third billing system - I WILL NOT REPLY WITH MY CC INFO FOR YOU!!!

Three payments supposedly receieved by you, and for billings...suddenly a Temporary Suspension...Total BS from Marc.... Site was deleted and removed back in May 2003.....

Just from your post (not really wanting to get involved, but had to mention) ... You said that you cancelled your payments to him in January, then deleted the site in May ... January - May = 4 months. Or am I missing something? (just attempting to understand - you posted in a public forum, so the public, I suppose, can reply until the thread gets locked)

I'm running into some billing issues too... what I don't like is that their support tickets getting closed without a response.

This post is pretty much worthless, because: 1. You don't state your name, so we have no idea of knowing who you are. 2. You don't state an email address, so we can't even email you. Please submit a support ticket at https://secure.mchost.com/manager/ , you can login with your email address and the last 4 digits of your credit card, or request a new password to be sent to you with the reminder feature.

Who do I contact to be unsubscribed from the mchost forum?

Posted by Aussie Bob, 07-02-2003, 07:15 PM
Log into their forum with your forum username and password. Then access your user settings and change the email address that you created that forum account with to a non-existant email address.

s/non-existant email address/their helpdesk email addy/ muahaha.

I didn't feel I needed to post my name or email address since this thread is called "Mchost-marc - Stop Emailing Me " and not McHost tech support. I was simply stating an issue I'm having. I've already sent a reply to my closed trouble ticket and it still remains open although a trouble ticket I had sent after was answered.

the joys of the mchost ticket system.....youve probably got better odds of winning the lottery, then of guessing which one of your tickets, will get a decent responce, if any at all.

I would, but he banned me for complaining I haven't been a customer since January and I have no forum or helpdesk access. Emails go unanswered too. I checked my account there a month or two ago and I still have whm/cpanel and shell access. I don't know why they don't turn it off

That's screwed up. I've had experiences like that, unfortunetly some hosts arn't very good..

Hey Virt, don't worry mate. You're not alone. No need to say sorry if anyone sees this. The more the better! McHost is a weed and the sooner it goes down, the better. I am speaking from experience, and I can say that I know how useless McHost is with their billing system, which cost me a lot. I also know what it's like to be banned from a forum for complaining. Marc doesn't care. How he has so many customers I will never figure out, but my best advice to you is to tie everything up with them and get far far far away. Don't expect any help from McHost. You're on your own. MrLeN

I've had a dedicated server with them for a long while now and am very happy with them. Getting along is a two way street you know.

Yea, so is keeping a server running. MrLeN

They both work fine for me. I'm happy.

It's a miracle. Mate. You're so full of chance and luck - if I were you, I'd buy a lottery ticket. On that note, PM me.. I'll buy you one. When you win, can you give me 1/2? ..actually 1/4 will do. MrLeN

No such thing as luck or Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny or karma. It's just that I am and lots of other people are happy where we are and our experiences have been better there than other hosts we've used. Been there over two years and I'm not going anywhere. So there! I guess I told you I did! LOL

Falls over backwards OUCH! MrLeN
